Rebuilt in the early 1930’s across the road from its original location, the Rose and Crown was designed for Truman’s Brewery by the highly respected pub architect A.E. Sewell, and now lies adjacent to the 13th century St. Mary’s Church, and proudly overlooking Clissold Park and fashionable Stoke Newington Church Street, with its eclectic mix of boho shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.The pub was granted grade II listed status by Historic England in 2015 as a place of special significance
