  •   We stayed for 2 nights as an elderly couple visiting our granddaughter. Stefan & Anna went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, as well our granddaughter and husband who visited us there. All meals were fantastic and the evening ambience lovely. The guests terrace will be fantastic in warmer weather too! We’ll definitely stay there again next visit and I’m sure other family members will do too. Thank you Stefan and Anna! Mr & Mrs Cook.

We stayed at the Rose and Crown for five nights. The location for Stoke Newington was perfect. The English breakfasts made by Ania were wonderful. The pub food and drink overseen by Stephan was great. But what truly impressed us were the staff, a group of incredibly personable, smiling folks. Such attentiveness starts at the top with Stephan and Ania and filters down to everyone else. We will be back!!

We have stayed at this property several times over the last couple of years. This was our best stay of them all. Stefan and Anna are great hosts, the welcome on arrival by Stefan was first class, especially finding us a table for us and our guests on what was a fully booked Sunday lunch service. The room was immaculate and the breakfast cooked first class. Will be definitely returning in the near future.

  •   A must visit if you're after a warm welcome regardless whether you're just here for a drink and a meal in the pub or staying in the hotel above. We stayed for two nights in the double room with a giant bed (super king?) and a spacious bath, which made our trip very memorable. Everything was exceptionaly clean and well looked after by Stefan who is the General Manager and his fiance who made us breakfast (excellent hollandaisse!). The only thing we noticed was a bit of muffled noise from the pub (our room was directly above), but we had no issues with falling asleep like babies after having a hot bubble bath. We'll definitely visit again, thank you for an amazing time!!

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Stefan and Anna are genuinely welcoming and do their best to look after you. There was a small problem with the shower and it was fixed immediately we mentioned it. The breakfast was beautifully cooked. We were not troubled by noise at all. As mentioned in previous reviews there is no lift for luggage and if your room is on the 2nd floor you have to be able to cope with stairs, but Stefan carried our cases for us so we appreciated that.

We have stayed at the Rose and Crown several times over the last few years. Once again our stay was brilliant. The new managers Stefan and Anna were so welcoming . Nothing is too much trouble . Stefan spent time chatting to us and recommended local restaurants ... The food at the Rose and Crown is so good anyway!
Unfortunately I wasn't too well during our visit but Anna was helpful telling us she was around all day should we need her .
Our room , room 3 is beautiful.
We will definitely be back in London soon , hopefully the Rose and Crown won't be booked up .
Thank you Stefan and Anna . Good luck with your new venture . More

Was meant to be traveling to London next week but due to a family emergency couldn’t travel I emailed explaining my situation 3 days before hand got no response and they still took the money for the room. Very poor customer care & not understating.

Thank you to the chef. They don't offer a vegan menu, however with a weeks notice they were able to offer a couple of choices. My expectations were low, yet it was truly delicious; red peppers stuffed with couscous, tofu, sat on mushrooms, roasted tomatoes,...More
